I've been on both sides of this conversation — helping buyers check out suppliers, and talking to people who've been burned by trading companies pretending to be factories. The good news is, if you know what to look for, the difference is pretty obvious.

A real address is the first giveaway

A genuine manufacturer can tell you exactly where their factory is. Not just a city name, but a street, a district, a specific industrial zone.
