Amitime R290 Heat Pumps: Tech & Safety Excellence

Technically, Amitime is a pioneering Chinese heat pump maker in R290 refrigerant development. Initially lacking suitable core parts like compressors, we co-developed them with top suppliers, launching the first-gen R290 products in 2021—boasting an industry-leading SCOP of 4.83 and strong overseas recognition.

For R290’s flammability, we’ve deployed robust safety measures: check valves (prevent backflow), plate heat exchangers (leak checks), pressure release valves (relieve >2.5bar pressure), refrigerant discharge pipes (direct leaks), and gas separators (remove water-system gas).

Now, R290 tech matures, making first-gen models more affordable. We also launched the 2024 high-end second-gen R290, hitting an even higher SCOP of 5.3.
