AMITIME Defines Comfort Heating Standards with Ultra-Low Noise Heat Pumps

TÜV Rheinland Low Noise Certification

In March 2026, at MCE Milan, TÜV Rheinland awarded AMITIME’s SilentSTAR residential heat pump series the first low-noise conformity certificate in the heat pump industry that meets German low-noise requirements.

The certification is based on real operating conditions of heat pumps, with systematic testing and evaluation of both noise performance and overall operation. The criteria are more demanding than the relevant requirements of the EU Ecodesign Directive, further demonstrating AMITIME’s R&D strength in low-noise heat pump technology.

It adopts a 14-layer noise reduction design, optimizing the entire operating system through careful component optimization, precise fan adjustment, and high-quality soundproofing materials, ensuring quieter and more stable operation.

Operating noise can be as low as 33 dB(A), meeting the low-noise requirements of Germany’s BEG subsidy program for energy-efficient buildings.
